I am Indian, so my skin type is IV-V. I had about 8 treatments on my
face. I have done my arms, legs underarms and bikini now also - all
needed about 8 /9 treatments.

And where?

Comment on Laser Hair Removal and Me

In Illinois, you have to be an aesthetician / RN working under the supervision of an MD to use lasers. The companies that make the lasers certify you. There is no school here that offers a comprehensive program on lasers yet. Peels and Microderms should have been covered in your school.
Look for a job in a Medi Spa ( newspapers / internet ). When you interview, ask if your reponsibilities will include using laser and if the clinic will get you certified. Another option is to attend seminars / workshops that laser manufacterers have ( eg Lumenis is holding one in October ). You will be able to network there as many clinic managers are at these type of events.

Comment on Laser Hair Removal and Me

I am a new esthetics professional interested in advanced procedures such as laser hair removal, peels, and microderm.
